How It Works
From signed agreement to live traffic, without surprises.
Integrating a carrier shouldn't be a research project. Here is exactly how customers connect to Vireon and what happens at each stage.
Connect
Establish your technical connection: SIP for voice, SMPP or REST for messaging, API for provisioning. Our onboarding engineers work with your team on parameters, capacity and interop testing.
Configure
Set up what your traffic needs: routing profiles and tiers, DID numbers, sender IDs, authentication, failover destinations, and the fraud controls appropriate to your risk profile.
Route
Go live — usually starting with test traffic, then ramping. Your calls and messages ride quality-monitored routes with automatic failover, rated transparently against your agreed rate card.
Monitor
Watch quality, delivery and spend in near real time. Your team sees the same route metrics our NOC works from, and alerting keeps both sides ahead of anomalies.
Onboarding
What onboarding actually looks like
Every account gets a defined onboarding path: commercial terms agreed, technical parameters exchanged, interconnect built and tested, then a controlled ramp to production volumes. A named onboarding engineer owns the process end to end.
- Technical questionnaireIPs, codecs, capacity, signalling preferences — captured once, correctly.
- Interop & test trafficVerified against your equipment before commercial traffic flows.
- Controlled rampVolumes increase on an agreed schedule while both teams watch quality.
- Handover to operationsClear escalation contacts and monitoring in place from day one.

Common Questions
Integration questions we hear most
How long does it take to go live?
It depends on your setup and the services involved. A standard SIP interconnect with agreed terms typically moves quickly; number provisioning in regulated markets or complex multi-service builds take longer. Your onboarding engineer commits to a timeline at kickoff.
Do we need to change our existing platform?
Usually not. Vireon presents standard interfaces — SIP, SMPP, REST — that existing PBXs, softswitches and applications already speak. Migration can run in parallel with your current provider.
Can we start small and scale?
Yes — that's the normal path. Many customers start with one destination set or one service and expand once quality and operations are proven. The platform is the same at every scale.
Who do we talk to when something breaks?
The 24/7 NOC, with escalation paths defined in your agreement. Incidents are worked by engineers with access to route-level data, and you're kept informed until resolution.
